Apricots - Are they ready?

Typically every 4 to 5 years we can anticipate a crop of this decadent fruit. The reason for the inability to have this happen yearly is due to how sensitive the blossoms are. The trees produce a beautiful blossom in the early spring and if we receive a hard frost after it will kill the fruit. So when we get them we celebrate and do the best we can to harvest and share them. 

At Sage View Ranch, our apricot trees offer a delightful taste of summer! If we have a good year, this decadent fruit is typically ready for harvest from mid-July into the first week of August. Whether you enjoy them fresh off the tree, dried for a chewy treat, or frozen to savor later, we have them available while supplies last.
